For the past two years, it has remained somewhat quiet around actor Tom Van Dyck and his television work. He was not feeling well and needed a break, he said earlier in De Morgen. The ball started rolling when Van Dyck was on stage and after twenty minutes the performance suddenly stopped. “I went to my locker room, knocked a few things in there and started crying”, it was honest about the moment he crashed.
In the meantime, Van Dyck has already returned to the stage with the classic ‘Waiting for Godot’, one of the most famous and infamous plays of the last century.
Leading role in ‘Money Wolves’
Soon he will also make his comeback on television. Van Dyck plays the leading role in the new VTM series ‘Geldwolven’. In that series we are introduced to the timid and always correct fraud expert Frank Van Dam. When his wife leaves him, he finds that the world around him is not as fair as he thought. Chris is a charming twenties who knows how to turn everyone around their finger and who lives on small scams. With Frank’s experience and Chris’ human knowledge they form a successful duo. But what starts small and careful is completely derailed. Or does it just seem that way?
